ScoreCall

Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026 · Revised October 18, 2026 · This is a translation of the Korean policy, which prevails if they differ.

ScoreCall has no accounts and never quietly collects names, phone numbers or location. The only information that reaches our server is what you turn on or type in yourself.

1. Information kept only on your phone

The following stays on your phone and is not sent to the ScoreCall server. It is deleted when you uninstall the app. If Android device backup (Google account backup) is on, match history and settings may be included in that backup; the live sharing token of a match in progress is excluded from backups.

2. Information sent when you turn on live sharing

Only when you tap Start sharing on the match screen is the following sent to the ScoreCall sharing server.

What is sentSport, team or player names, team colors, event or club name, score, game (set) score, serving side, order of points in the current game
PurposeShowing the score live to people who open the share link
Who can see itAnyone who has the link. Link addresses are random and cannot be guessed
Viewer cheersOnly the number of cheers per team is stored, not who sent them

If you never turn on sharing, nothing is sent to the server. You can end sharing at any time with Stop sharing or by going back home.

3. Beta tester sign-up

The feature feedback form only receives the answers you pick and the comments you write. An email address is optional, for when you want a reply, and we ask for consent only if you leave one.

What we receiveChosen answers (your role, rating, wanted features), comments, email (optional)
PurposeImproving new features and deciding what to build next; replying if you left an email
RetentionDeleted automatically by the server 1 year after receipt, or right away on request if you left an email

5. Information the server records automatically

To prevent abuse (for example creating too many shared matches, cheers or sign-ups in a short time) and to investigate outages, the sharing and web servers keep ordinary access logs with IP addresses and access times. These logs are used for nothing else and are deleted after at most 30 days.

6. Third parties, ads and outside services

7. Permissions the app asks for

InternetUsed only to send the score and receive viewer and cheer counts while live sharing is on

The app does not ask for location, contacts, photos, microphone or notification permissions.

8. Your rights and how to delete data

You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your information, or to stop processing it. How to delete each kind of data, and the request form, are on the data deletion page (in Korean; you may write in English). Requests are handled within 7 days.

9. Children

The service is not directed at children. Children under 14 should get a parent's consent before signing up for the beta or sending a question; if we learn we received information without consent, we delete it right away.
